Training Design Lab

Design training environments that grow your people (and your church).

Many churches lack truly effective training and leadership development—limiting their capacity to grow. If you’re a ministry leader of any kind, it’s not your fault! Most church leaders have been equipped to teach, not to train.

Training Design Lab gives you a simple, repeatable framework you can use in any context to move beyond information transfer and into real skill development—multiplying leaders, strengthening ministry teams, and accelerating your church’s overall growth.

The Training Design Lab was different from any other training I had been a part of because it incorporated true hands-on learning. I have fresh confidence that our leader training will no longer be clunky or poorly structured, but organized and set up for success. There is so much value in having a structure and tools that can be implemented so quickly into any training process.

The Training Design Lab left our team excited to keep building training. It enabled us to realign our team’s unique gifts and passions within the various parts of the design process, so we could get more breakthroughs from our training. I cannot recommend this opportunity, the Clarity House team, or the tools more highly. God was and is glorified in what they are empowering our church to craft!

The Training Design Lab has moved our team from the information-heavy style we were comfortable with to a learner-centered and experience-rich training style that increases participation and produces real-life change. In 2 days with Clarity House, we built a course that we’re confident in and now have a repeatable pattern to design future training. The tools we gained were easy to implement and are already shaping every learning environment in our church.

Before the Training Design Lab, we were experimenting with training but lacked a clear, trusted framework. The challenge wasn’t just what to teach—it was knowing what we must train. This Lab gave us freedom, clarity, and a repeatable method to move from one-way teaching to disciple-making training environments.

Across our entire church, we have felt the frustrating results of both ineffective trainings and plans that relied solely on classic, lecture-style preparation sessions. Our time with the Clarity House team and their Training Design Lab was a clear turning point for every single ministry at CityHope. From learning how to design new trainings to dreaming about the construction of future ones, we feel positioned for fruitfulness where there’s been frustration.
